It’s hard to miss what’s going on in Diablo 4 right now – Season 10’s closing weeks have suddenly kicked into overdrive. Both Mother’s Blessing and the brand new Compass to Carnage are live at the same time, which doesn’t happen often. What this really means is that you can stack those sweet XP and gold bonuses with higher drop rates in Infernal Hordes. Mother’s Blessing sticks to its usual deal – 35% more XP and a 50% gold bump from everything you do – plus that extra Gift of the Tree every time you wrap up your Grim Favors. Throw in your boosted loot chances from Compass to Carnage and you’ll be swimming in rewards faster than you can stash them. If you’ve been waiting to stockpile Diablo 4 Items, this window is as good as it gets.

Compass to Carnage itself feels like Blizzard has been paying attention to how players chew through endgame content. The big draw is the increased drop rate for Infernal Horde Compasses and the extra Aether you need to run them. Chaos Waves are popping up far more often, and while they can get hectic fast, they’re also a blast if you’ve got a solid build. You’re more engaged, more on your toes, and you see payback immediately in the loot. It’s got that dangerous but rewarding vibe that Infernal Hordes needed to push them from “another grind” into “can’t wait to jump back in.”

Looking back over the past eleven seasons, there’s been a clear effort to keep things fresh without blowing up what works. Season 10’s Chaos Perks feel like a clever evolution of Season 9’s Horadric Spells – same idea of adding big buffs, but now with meaningful drawbacks. That little bit of risk makes you stop and think about how you’re building your character. Instead of just stacking bonuses, you weigh the cost of a decision. It’s small changes like this that make each season feel like progress instead of recycling.

That said, the endgame loop has been riding the same rails for a while now. Yes, there are tweaks, and yes they’ve kept it fun, but if we’re honest most of us can see the pattern. The Tower that’s coming in Season 11 sounds promising on paper, though I’m not sure it’ll break the mould. My worry is that it’ll feel too close to what we’ve already done. But, that’s next season’s problem. Right now it’s hard not to just enjoy the moment – two big events live together, loads of loot, gold pouring in, and plenty of time to push builds to their limit. If you’re thinking about making one last push before the reset, it’s the perfect excuse to farm hard and fill up on diablo 4 gear.
